Collaboration

To provide a circumpolar approach Greenland Perspective has established a collaborative research and educational component with the University Centre in Svalbard (UNIS).

The human and natural resources, their interactions, mutual exploration and how these may provide solutions for new technologies and optimal utilization and management of arctic resources are at the heart of Greenland Perspective.

To provide a circumpolar approach to the understanding of the current challenges in Greenland, Greenland Perspective emphasizes the importance of operating within a circumpolar network. Greenland Perspective has just established a collaborative research and educational component with the University Centre in Svalbard (UNIS).

UNIS provide a unique opportunity for Norwegian and international researchers and, in particular, graduate and post-graduate students, for a hands-on experience on the arctic environment, its structure, function and management.

In addition to research opportunities related to turisme and ecosystem dynamics and management, UNIS provides a really interesting course for bachelor students cross natural, human and economic fields, Arctic Environmental Management. But UNIS extends beyond to courses related to Arctic Geology, Geophysics and Technology.
